Position Overview

• As a teacher with Efiko Learning, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective online tutoring sessions to students in your subject area(s) of expertise.
• You will work closely with students to understand their learning needs, provide personalized instruction, and support them in achieving their academic goals. 
• Also, you will have the opportunity to inspire and shape the minds of future leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Provide personalized one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in your area of expertise.
• Assessment and Progress Tracking: Assess students' learning needs, create customized learning plans, and track their progress over time.
• Effective Communication: Maintain open communication channels with students and their parents/guardians to address questions, concerns, and progress updates.
• Adaptability: Modify teaching strategies and resources to accommodate students' learning styles, preferences, and pace of learning.
• Time Management: Manage your tutoring schedule efficiently, ensuring punctuality and consistency in delivering sessions.
• Feedback and Support: Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and academic performance.
• Continued Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in online tutoring, educational technologies, and subject-specific content to enhance your teaching effectiveness.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area or equivalent professional experience.
• 1 - 5 years previous tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in an online setting.
• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and tools such as Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace conducive to online tutoring sessions.
• Ability to tailor instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students.
