BAT Computer Technologies Limited is a Technology Systems integration company with vast experience in the Design, Installation, and Integration of Digital Networks, Telecommunication Systems, and e-business solutions. Licensed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), to provide telecommunications deployment and installation services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technician 

Location: Oshodi or It's axis, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation of telecommunications cabling and equipment, relocation, and removal of tower-mounted equipment.
• Work at heights on a range of telecommunications structures including poles, towers, and masts to install antennas, feeders, and ancillary equipment
• Erection and fixing of steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment.
• Termination of telecommunications cables of various types and sizes and testing of cables for compliance with specifications. Conducting site audits.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Licensed and Unlicensed Frequency Radio. Proficient in the use of Compass, GPS, and Range Finder.
• Performing Line of sight physical surveys and provide report for documentation.
• Assist with the operations and project teams during the planning and deployment of new projects/technologies.
• Ensure that all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environments) rules and guidelines are adhered to.
• Work with team members to achieve the timely completion of projects under pressure.
• Provide assistance and backup to the operations and project teams during the planning and deployment of new projects/technologies.

• Provide user support by diagnosing network and device problems and implementing technical or procedural solutions.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• School leaving certificate (SSCE or WAEC) or its equivalent in Telecommunications or any related discipline
• 5 years experience in the ICT/Telecommunication Sector/Industry.
• Training on RF, and Wireless Radio Communication such as Aviat, Dragon, Cambium, Ubiquity, and Mikrotik Radios.

Competence Requirements:

• Advanced products and service Installation & Configuration knowledge and experience
• Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Strong knowledge of the ISP industry and operations.
