Job Title: Procurement Executive -Trainee

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Reporting to: Procurement Supervisor

Job Summary

• The role of the Procurement Executive (Trainee) is to assist the company’s market position and achieve financial growth by identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, building key business relationships, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and processing requests for Quotation (RFQ)
• Assist with Tender/bid Management
• Obtain quotes from suppliers, prepare and submit quotations to clients
• Follow up on all submitted RFQs
• Assist with processing Purchase Orders (PO)
• Work within established supply chain procedures for requisition processing, validation, payment, delivery and invoicing
• Maintain a comprehensive filing system (Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.)
• Maintain high degree of safety and confidentiality of documents and company property
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-service support
• Submit weekly progress/sales/marketing report
• Work with the team to deliver presentations as the need arises.
• Ensure company documentation are up to date and are properly packaged for submission
• Follow up on Quotes and Tenders submitted and resolve conflicts in a timely and positive manner.
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
• Inspect all goods received, prepare delivery notes for items received. and expedite same to client’s facility.
• Research and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to potential high net worth clients.
• Contact potential and existing clients via email or phone calls to establish rapport and set up meetings.

Salary
N100,000 Monthly.
