We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources & Administrative Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Job Summary

  • The HR and Admin Officer will be responsible for creating a positive work environment, ensuring employee welfare, maintaining compliance, and handling disciplinary matters.
  • This role requires a proactive and strategic HR professional committed to fostering a strong organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee relations, ensuring workplace harmony and addressing grievances.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and compliance with labour laws.
  • Implement safety and welfare programs to enhance employee well-being.
  • Manage employee misconduct cases, discipline, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitive remuneration.
  • Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Monitor and manage employee attendance and absence records.
  • Recruit for new hires and manage selection processes

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources, hospitality, business administration or related courses
  • At least three (3) years of proven HR experience supporting or managing teams in executing HR functions. Experience working in the hospitality sector, hotels, restaurants is a strong advantage etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective HR strategies
  • Should reside in Abuja. Proximity within Jabi is a strong advantage
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Should be able to manage different personalities and requests in a timely and effective manner
  • Should be able to demonstrate proven experience in operations and administrative management.
