Job Description

• Our client is seeks to hire a Team Lead, Networks and Communicaton who will be responsible for ensuringthe availability, stability and optimization of all WAN and LAN links within the bank, and to provide adequate network support to ensure organizational business objectives are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide local and wide area network connectivity to all branches.
• Provide guidance on monitoring of WAN links to ensure continuous uptime and optimum performance.
• Engage and work with service providers for the restoration of inactive links.
• Ensure internet connectivity is up and public-facing services are reachable from the internet.
• Ensure all network devices are properly configured and monitored.
• Provide optimization for all network links.
• Work with service providers to ensure agreed SLAs are met.
• Ensure redundancy of core infrastructure devices to provide high availability.
• Lead the team in Planning, Designing and Implementing the Data Center Network Infrastructure.
• Discover more effective ways to ensure stability of WAN links at branches and offsite ATMs.
• Ensure members of the team perform assigned tasks in line with standard operating procedures and processing.

Educational Qualifications

• First Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Possession of CCNA/CCNP/CCIE certificate is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Network Engineer.

Preference:

• Preference for candidates from a service provider i.e A Data Centre/ Hostor Network Provider

Salary
N18,000,000 annually.
