Job Summary

• We are looking for a dedicated and professional Spa Therapist/Masseuse to join our team. 
• The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in various massage techniques and spa therapies, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service. 
• This role requires an individual who can create a calm and relaxing environment for clients, customize treatments to meet their needs, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and customer care.

Key Responsibilities
Massage Therapy & Treatments:

• Perform a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, reflexology, and other specialized treatments.
• Customize each treatment based on client needs, ensuring a personalized experience.
• Maintain a clean and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after their treatments.

Customer Service:

• Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their spa experience.
• Advise clients on the benefits of various therapies and suggest treatments that best suit their needs.
• Provide post-treatment advice to clients for the continuation of their wellness journey.

Product Knowledge:

• Stay up to date on spa products and services to effectively recommend retail items to clients, enhancing their experience.
• Educate clients on proper skincare and wellness habits as part of their overall treatment plan.

Hygiene & Safety:

• Ensure all equipment and spa areas are sanitized and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures and maintaining proper records of treatments.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of client treatments and preferences.
• Assist with scheduling and appointment bookings as needed.
• Support with opening and closing the spa, including preparation and inventory of spa products.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND / HND qualification
• 2 - 4 years proven experience as a Spa Therapist/Masseuse or similar role in a spa or wellness setting.
• Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
• Extensive knowledge of various massage techniques and body treatments.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others relax and unwind.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in all situations.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required.
• Ability to remain physically active and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a spa environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in specialized treatments (e.g., reflexology, aromatherapy, prenatal massage) are a plus.
• Previous experience working in a luxury spa environment.
