Job Summary

• We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst (Mid to Senior Level) to join our team. As a remote team member, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks, monitoring security events, and ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Threat Assessment & Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular threat assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to uncover potential security weaknesses across enterprise systems.
• Incident Response & Forensics: Lead incident response efforts, conduct post-incident forensic analysis, and drive remediation to minimize impact.
• Security Protocols & Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce robust security protocols in line with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously monitor network traffic, security alerts, and firewall activities. Investigate any unusual behavior, ensuring early detection of potential threats.
• Automation & Scripting: Leverage programming skills to automate security processes and tasks, using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage risk, improve the security posture, and provide clear reports on security events and improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Information Assurance is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles within corporate or enterprise environments. Strong experience in threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response for medium to large organizations.

Certifications:

• Highly Preferred: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) o Other relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA are an advantage.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, etc.)
• Familiarity with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and IDS/IPS.
• Strong understanding of encryption standards, VPNs, MFA, and PKI.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
• Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, and PCIDSS compliance.
