Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team of educators.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, fostering a love for mathematics, and ensuring students achieve academic excellence.

Job Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate and engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Incorporate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning.Assessment and Feedback:
• Assess and monitor students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to support learning and improvement.

Classroom Management:

• Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering mutual respect and discipline.

Curriculum Development:

• Participate in the development and review of the school’s mathematics curriculum.
• Suggest innovative methods and materials to improve teaching outcomes.

Professional Development:

• Attend workshops, training sessions, and meetings to stay updated on best practices in mathematics education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and strategies.

Extracurricular Activities:

• Support students in math-related competitions, clubs, and activities.
• Encourage participation in activities that strengthen problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Job Requirements
Persons’ Specification:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a reputable school.

Job Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of primary school mathematics curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in the use of technology for teaching (e.g., Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards).
• A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
• Creative, patient, and adaptable with strong organizational skills.
