Job Title: Food Server

Location: Victoria lsland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Supervisor

Job Summary

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling customer requests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Taking: Take orders accurately and efficiently, using a point-of-sale system or other ordering methods.
• Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring orders are accurate and complete.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Table Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables, refilling condiments, and restocking utensils and supplies.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience.

Education and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Service Experience: 1+ year of experience in food service, preferably as a server or in a related role.
• Certifications: Certifications, such as food safety certification, are desirable.

Required Skills:

• Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with ability to respond to customer requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in order taking and food and beverage service.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and ensuring efficient service.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift for long periods, with ability to handle physical demands of serving.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with minimal downtime.
• Physical Demands: Physical demands, including standing, walking, and lifting, are required.
• Flexible Schedule: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
• Resumption immediately

Salary
N80,000 Monthly.
