We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations & Business Development Manager

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations & Business Development Manager to join our esteemed team. 
  • The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in hotel management and business development, along with relevant educational qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring a seamless guest experience and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive sales, revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Lead and mentor a team of department heads to optimize performance and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives to increase brand visibility.
  • Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Evaluate operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on operational performance and business development strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in hotel management and business development roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and revenue management techniques.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in the hospitality sector.
