What You’ll Do

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring all financial activities are performed accurately and efficiently.
• Develop and implement financial plans and policies aligned with the overall corporate finance strategy set by the CFO
• Possess a deep understanding of deal origination and deal closure
• Identify profitable opportunities in the financial market and develop investment pitch decks 
• Lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring their skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
• Provide financial analysis and support to various business units within the organization.

Requirements
Who You Are:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, or a related field; a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and/or MBA is a strong plus.
• A seasoned corporate finance professional with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior corporate finance role.
• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic financial plans, driving growth, and managing risk.
• In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across all levels.

Bonus Points:

• Experience working with a Private Equity firm and managing multiple subsidiaries.
• A deep understanding of the African business landscape and its regulatory environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Deep knowledge of the National and International financial markets
• Excellent negotiation and deal structuring skills.
