Job Description

• A graphic designer uses visual concepts to communicate ideas and information.
• They use design software to create compelling visuals, such as logos, advertisements, and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Sketching: Create rough drafts and explore different design approaches
• Designing: Create layouts, select colors, fonts, and images
• Using design software: Use design software to bring ideas to life
• Meeting deadlines: Meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
• Providing and receiving criticism: Be able to provide and receive criticism
• Brainstorming: Generate creative ideas and conceptualize design solutions

Skills and Qualifications
Strong aesthetic skills:

• Have a keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to combine colors, fonts, and layouts.

Attention to detail:

• Have strong aesthetic skills and the ability to pay attention to visual details.

Time management skills:

• Be able to meet deadlines and have time management skills.

Typography:

• Know how to choose appropriate fonts for their work, including the size, shape, and placement of text.

Work settings:

• Graphic designers can work for advertising and graphic design firms, and on a variety of projects, including websites, posters, brochures, magazines, and more.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 monthly.
