Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Iworoko, Ado-Ekiti - Ekiti

Job Summary

• The Human Resources Officer is responsible for supporting all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. 
• This role ensures the smooth execution of HR policies and processes while fostering a positive work environment. 
• The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of HR best practices within a fast-paced, customer-oriented industry.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
• Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and training schedules.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and team-building activities.
• Address employee concerns and escalate issues to senior HR personnel when necessary.

Performance Management:

• Assist in coordinating performance appraisal cycles, tracking performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
• Provide support in identifying training needs and coordinating learning and development programs.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure HR processes comply with labor laws and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records for audits, including employment contracts, disciplinary actions, and leave management.
• Manage employee leave requests and ensure compliance with company policies.

Administrative Support:

• Assist in drafting HR-related correspondence such as employment letters and policy updates.
• Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive HR information.
• Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably within the automobile or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and industry regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
