Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships. 
• You will be responsible for handling inquiries, processing orders, managing events, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 
• A passion for food and events, combined with excellent communication skills and social media proficiency, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, in-person, and social media platforms. Provide detailed information about our catering services, menus, pricing, and availability.
• Accurately take and process catering orders, ensuring all details are captured, including event date, time, location, guest count, menu selections, and special requests.
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution. Communicate client needs and preferences to the kitchen staff, event coordinators, and delivery personnel.
• Address customer concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency. Work to find solutions that satisfy the customer and maintain a positive relationship.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell catering services. Provide quotes and proposals to potential clients. Follow up on leads and inquiries.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Proactively seek feedback to improve service quality. Engage with customers on social media, responding to comments and messages.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our catering menus, services, and pricing. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Assist with social media content creation and scheduling. Monitor social media channels for mentions and feedback. Respond to inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality or catering industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with social media platforms, and social media management tools.
• Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.

Salary
N70,000 Monthly.
