Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Idi-Iroko, Ogun

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of our projects.
• The ideal candidate must be a goal-getter, relentless in meeting deadlines, and capable of ensuring that all contractors and suppliers deliver on time. 

About the Role
The candidate will be responsible for;

• Overseeing all aspects of the farm project from planning to execution, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Developing and implementing project timelines, schedules, and milestones, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.
• Coordinating and managing contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring they meet their commitments.
• Identifying and addressing bottlenecks or delays immediately, using effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, and operational standards throughout the project.
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
• Providing regular progress updates to management, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Maintaining high-quality standards in all construction, procurement, and operational phases of the farm project.
• Enforcing accountability among stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.

Requirements
Candidate must:

• Possess a minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Have 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the agricultural or poultry industry.
• Have proven track record of successfully managing farm construction, operations setup, or similar projects.
• Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to push contractors and suppliers to meet deadlines.
• Have excellent problem-solving abilities and a high level of resilience in overcoming project challenges.
• Have strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to ensure smooth project execution.
• Have the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
• Having knowledge of import, export and clearing is an added advantage
• Have knowledge of regulatory and operational standards in poultry farming is an added advantage.
• Be able to carry out any other responsibilities or assignments given by the management.
