Description

• We’re currently looking for an autonomous business leader who will help us identify, assess and implement an international expansion strategy for Reliance Health.
• This role will be responsible for executing our international expansion playbook, engaging with key stakeholders in target markets, assessing local regulations, and identifying operational requirements for market entry.
• This role is remote within Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify health insurance across Africa and other emerging markets.
• Understand the different regulations and the requirements for a new player to enter such markets.
• Segment and prioritize international expansion options for Reliance Health.
• Executing the international expansion playbook of Reliance Health.
• Build the right network in the different interesting countries (hiring candidates, advisors, supporters, etc.)
• Coordinate the launch of Reliance Health’s business in identified new countries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in international or cross-border roles, preferably within emerging markets, with transferable skills suited for driving international expansion.
• Strong network of business executive, regulators and startup founders across multiple emerging markets.
• Autonomous thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to build from 0 to 1.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience in insurance / healthcare is a plus but not compulsory.
