We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Telecom / Communication Supervisor (WRFM Systems /Smartfields)

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

• IT Onsite the CWE (Collaborative Work Environment) is an audio-visual systems environment created for collaborative decision making and communication. between groups and functions in the same or remote locations, focusing on people, processes, technology and infrastructure capabilities to improve teamwork, and are typically deployed on integrated Crestron, Extron and Cisco or similar integrated devices.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure the smooth running and maintenance of deployed Audio-Visual Infrastructure
• Ensure quality real time data streaming from the Assets to the Plant Information system (PI), through to the Audio-Visual equipment, and communicate anomalies observed during surveillance activities (Asset Teams for production related issues and Information Technology teams for Telecoms, Datacom and Production system issues
• Coordinate new AV installations and rollouts where applicable
• Liaise with OEMs for equipment repairs under warranty
• Perform additional job duties as assigned by the Collaborative Work Environment IT Support Team
• Work in close collaboration with customers to understand and interpret business needs to implement solutions.

Academics

• Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any of the Physical or Applied Sciences.

Age:

• <= 40 years.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in video conferencing and audio-visual troubleshooting and support Technology Platforms (Added advantage)
• Recommended to hold vendor specific certifications (Crestron digital media certified, Extron
• Audio-visual Associate, Crestron programing certified, Extron control certified)
• Application and Data Analytics knowledge.

Technical/Leadership Skills:
Purpose:

• Provide IT, CWE and Production systems support in PMC & WRFM Systems. CWE is an audio-visual systems environment created for collaborative decision making and communication between groups and functions in the same or remote locations, focusing on people, processes, technology, and infrastructure capabilities to improve teamwork.

Dimensions:

• Ability to provide support and take up responsibilities in other aspect of WRFM Systems.

TechnicalSkills / Competencies:

• Production systems support
• Experience in Control Systems installations, maintenance (Crestron, Extron, Barco, AMX,
• Smartboard, Clear one), and programming with Crestron studio or SIMPL or other programing languages.
• Experience in installations and maintenance of a diverse range of AV products (Cisco, Tandberg,
• Polycom amongst others), Touch Panel design and Digital media systems
• Experience in Audio Visual toolboxes and diagnostic tools.
