Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Location: Asaba, Delta

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our growing team. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes at our manufacturing facilities, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and quality control tests on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and discrepancies found.
• Identify quality issues and collaborate with the production team to propose corrective actions.
• Perform audits on manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and practices.
• Prepare detailed quality control reports for management.
• Ensure all equipment used in the quality control process is calibrated and properly maintained.
• Work closely with the production team to address any quality-related concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO, etc.).
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment and software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
