Job Title: Juniour Accountant (ICAN Student)

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support month - end and year - end closing procedures.
• Create and maintain financial spreadsheets for various analyses.
• Assist in filing statutory returns such as taxes, VAT other statutory reports.
• Support external and internal audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions.
• Help implement and maintain internal control procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments for financial data collection.
• Support Finance manager with any other duties and project.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of practical accounting experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Current ICAN student in good standing.
• Proficiency in Excel ERP, Sage or other accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
