Description 

• Are you a detail-oriented and organized professional sought for Silviculture Purchasing and Storekeeper role, responsible for procurement and inventory management of forestry materials and equipment?
• This permanent position is in Ondo and well suited to an individual with hands-on experience and knowledge in procurement and store management to support Purchasing and Inventory Management for our two key departments: Nursery and the Plantation Departments. This role reports to the Purchasing and Stores Manager.

Responsibilities 
The Silviculture Purchasing & Store Officer responsibilities include:

• Ensure that Procurement and Inventory are managed in full compliance with the Company’s applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Support these two (2) Departments in the timeous procurement of good quality items needed for their operations. The items can be bought locally or imported (under the supervision of the Purchasing and Store Manager).
• Strengthen the forward planning of all purchases in consultation with the two respective Departmental Managers, specifically taking into account order lead times for both local and imported items.
• Ensure that the Inventory and the Stores are properly managed for both the Main Camp and Gmelina Camp Satellite Stores through regular stock take and implementing enhanced loss control systems.
• Coordination with the Purchasing & Stores Team and the two Departmental Managers to ensure minimum stock and re-order levels are set and maintained for all critical items.
• Develop a competitive local supplier base for good quality and well-priced critical forestry items required by the Plantation and Nursery Departments to minimize imports.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Procurement and Stores Management
• Have at least 3 years of experience in Procurement and/or Inventory and Warehousing in a well-recognized institution
• Computer literate
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork capabilities
• Have the ability to multitask effectively
• Have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Must be a person of very high integrity
• Have strong organization and time management skills
• Willing to relocate to Ondo State.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
