Job Title: Relationship Manager

Report to: Head of Sales

Job Summary

• We are looking for a Relationship Manager to join our dynamic team. We seek a talented individual to contribute to our sales success in Lagos.
• This is a full-time hybrid role as a Relationship Manager located in Lagos with some remote work possible.
• As a Relationship Manager, you will focus on generating new business and supporting the sales team. 
• Your responsibilities will include building customer relationships, understanding their needs, and effectively promoting our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and generate leads.
• Strong ability to mobilize deposits.
• Achieve sales targets assigned by the sales manager.
• Vast knowledge of the mainland axis and its environs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the microfinance bank's customer base and market share.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports
• Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
• Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans for improvement to senior management.
• Provide support to the sales team as needed

Education, Qualifications and Experience

• 2 - 3 years in a Sales role and proven track record in mobilizing deposits.
• Experience working in a Microfinance Bank is a must-have.
• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or a related field

Skills and Compentencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required.
• Candidate must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, should be a self-starter.
• The desired candidate is expected to be primarily highly proactive and corrective in approach.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Previous and proven usage of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets.
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong awareness and knowledge of the Mainland axis.
