Job Summary

• The Financial Control Manager is responsible for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
• The role ensures timely and accurate rendition of financial returns to regulatory bodies, maintains the bank’s general ledger, and ensures compliance with statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial returns to the CBN.
• Render AML/CFT returns to the CBN and NFIU.
• Submit the Annual Financial Statements (AFS) to the CBN.
• Maintain and reconcile the bank’s General Ledger (GL).
• Ensure bank reconciliation and trial balance accuracy.
• Compute and ensure compliance with prudential requirements (CRR, Liquidity Ratio, CAR, etc.).
• Organize and facilitate ALCO meetings and submit financial reports to the board.
• Ensure compliance with CBN, NDIC, FRC, LIRS, and FIRS regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 years post-university experience in financial control or banking.
• ACA qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, CBA, and Trial Balance.
• Expertise in bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with CBN regulatory frameworks.

Salary
N650,000 - N750,000 Monthly.
