Job Title: Junior Interior Architectural Supervisor

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Junior Architect to join our team. 
• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2years of experience in quantity surveying and procurement within the construction industry. This role is crucial for managing the procurement process and ensuring the delivery of projects within budget and timeline constraints.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs and concepts under the guidance of senior architects.
• Create detailed architectural drawings and renderings using CAD software and other design tools.
• Participate in site visits and client meetings to gather design requirements and assess project progress.
• Conduct research on materials and construction methods to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure that projects adhere to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Contribute to the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports.
• Assist in coordinating with engineers, planners, and other consultants to ensure a cohesive approach to the design.
• Stay updated on architectural trends, technologies, and regulations.

Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in design thinking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university
• Relevant certifications or coursework in sustainable design, urban planning or related fields are a plus.
• Internships or 1-2 years of experience in architectural practice or related fields are preferred.
• Portfolio showcasing design projects and technical skills is required for review.

Measurable Feedback:

• Success in the role will be assessed based on key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
• Timeliness and accuracy of project deliverables.
• Feedback from senior architects and team members on collaboration and design contributions.
• Quality of design proposals and presentations submitted for client review.
• Involvement in successful project completions within budget and schedule.
