Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Ijora, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyse and interpret data related to sales, market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity.
• Generate regular reports that provide insights into business performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Support the cluster heads in monitoring key performance indicators across regions covered and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Strategic Support:

• Assist in the development of business strategies and action plans by providing data-driven recommendations.
• Work with regional and central teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements and man-power efficiency enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to understand business challenges and opportunities.
• Provide actionable recommendations and analytical support for ongoing business initiatives and projects.
• Facilitate the flow of information between departments, ensuring alignment on key projects and objectives.

Process Improvement & Change Management:

• Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
• Propose data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and improve decision-making processes.

Ad-hoc Analysis & Problem-Solving:

• Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reports as needed to support urgent business decisions or regional initiatives.
• Proactively identify business challenges and work with the cluster heads to resolve them effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data in a clear and actionable manner.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions and regions.
