Job Summary

• The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and management of the company. 
• As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will drive financial performance, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the company’s growth objectives. 
• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial management within the fintech industry and a strong understanding of digital financial services, payments, and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks while maximizing growth opportunities.

Financial Operations & Management:

• Oversee financial reporting, cash flow, and capital structure.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Optimize operational efficiency through automation and fintech-driven financial solutions.
• Monitor company performance through key financial metrics and reporting.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Oversee internal controls and audit processes to safeguard company assets.
• Manage relationships with financial regulators, auditors, and legal advisors.
• Develop policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks and fraud.

Capital Management & Fundraising:

• Lead fundraising efforts, including venture capital, private equity, and debt financing.
• Manage investor relations and present financial updates to stakeholders.
• Develop financial models to support investment decisions and funding strategies.
• Optimize capital allocation to maximize returns and business sustainability.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with business operations.
• Drive a culture of financial discipline and innovation across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of fintech business models, digital payments, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, and capital market transactions.
• Expertise in financial modeling, risk management, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and fintech tools.
• Prior experience in a fintech company, digital banking, or payment services.
• Strong relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and investors.
• Track record of successfully scaling a financial function in a high-growth company.
