Job Title: Construction Procurement Officer

Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and strategic Procurement Officer to oversee material sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation for our construction projects. 
• The role requires excellent negotiation skills, market research abilities, and cost-effective purchasing strategies to ensure timely and quality procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies aligned with project budgets and timelines.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate logistics to prevent project delays.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for management.
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast material needs and procurement plans.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Membership with CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple procurement demands.
