Job Title: Human Resource Executive

Description 

• Our client is seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resource Executive to lead HR operations, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives. The company specializes in communications and integration services, infrastructure services, managed and support services, cloud services, and software solutions across Africa.
• This role requires a highly skilled HR professional with 5-6 years of experience, preferably in an IT services or technology company. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant HR certification such as Associate CIPM, PHRi, or SPHRi.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top IT talent.
• Oversee workforce planning to ensure the organization has the right skills and capacity.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to enhance employee experience.

Performance Management & Employee Development:

• Implement and manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop learning and development programs to upskill employees.
• Support leadership in identifying high-potential employees for career growth.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

• Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
• Address employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters in line with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical HR practices.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Compliance:

• Support payroll processing and ensure accurate administration of employee compensation and benefits.
• Develop and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with employment regulations and HR best practices.

HR Data & Reporting:

• Maintain HR metrics and analytics to track workforce trends and provide insights to management.
• Manage and update HR information systems (HRIS) and employee records.
• Prepare HR reports and presentations for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of HR experience, preferably in an IT services or technology company.
• HR certification such as Associate CIPM, PHRi, or SPHRi is required.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
• Experience with talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
• Proficiency in HR software, payroll systems, and data analytics.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
