Job Title: Civil / Structural Engineer

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in Asaba, to oversee the design, development, and implementation of civil and structural projects. 
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil and structural projects, including buildings, bridges, roads, and other infrastructure
• Conduct site investigations and surveys to determine the suitability of sites for construction projects
• Prepare and review detailed designs, specifications, and cost estimates for projects
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed to the required quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in civil/structural engineering
• Professional certification (e.g. COREN, NSE) is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards
• Excellent design and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
