Job Title: SME Officer

Locations: Aba - Abia, Nnewi & Onitsha - Anambra, Kano, Port Harcourt - Rivers and Enugu

Job Summary

• Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs)?
• We are seeking for Experienced SME Officers to drive business growth, manage client portfolios, and provide financial solutions tailored to SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new SME banking opportunities.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of SME clients.
• Assess loan applications and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Monitor SME loan performance and ensure timely repayments.
• Provide advisory services to SME clients to improve business performance.
• Ensure compliance with risk management and credit policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years experience in SME banking, microfinance, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of SME lending, credit assessment, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proven track record of meeting sales and portfolio management targets.
