Job Overview

• We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Mobile App Tester to join our dynamic team.
• As a Mobile App Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of mobile applications. 
• You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve bugs and issues, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android) across various devices.
• Identify, record, and track bugs or issues in the application.
• Develop and execute test cases based on application specifications.
• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and provide feedback on app performance and usability.
• Perform regression testing to ensure the functionality of new and updated features.
• Monitor app performance (load times, crashes, etc.) to ensure optimal user experience.
• Provide suggestions for improvements in app design and functionality based on testing.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and documentation.
• Ensure that the app meets all design requirements, user expectations, and platform guidelines.
• Conduct usability testing to ensure intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Participate in agile development cycles, attending sprint reviews, and offering feedback.
• Report test progress, issues, and results to stakeholders in a clear and organized manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in mobile app testing (iOS, Android, or both).
• Strong knowledge of mobile testing methodologies and best practices.
• Understanding of performance testing, load testing, and security testing.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and work with development teams to resolve them.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with both Android and iOS platforms.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and scripts.
