Job Title: Senior Geophysicist

Description

• The Petrophysicist provides top-quality petrophysical interpretation skills for formation evaluation in good operations and field evaluation through successful field development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology / Geophysics or Petroleum Geosciences.
• Minimum of #7 years experience in petrophysical modeling and well data interpretation in an active E&P service or operating company.
• Experience in data integration across the Geological, Engineering, and Geophysical Environment.
• Completed first and second levels technical training, introduction to management/interdisciplinary skills.
• Advanced Knowledge of industry-specific hashtag#G&G software ( Petrel, Kingdom, Decision Space, etc).

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of different petrophysics and formation evaluation software.
• Workstation-based petrophysical interpretation on both wells and fields basis.
• Well-rounded geoscientist experienced in all aspects of play-based evaluation concepts and methods.
• Ability to rapidly analyze and identify critical success factors and risk elements, then focus on these to efficiently develop the opportunity.
• Well correlation analyses and sequence stratigraphy knowledge.
• Strong inter-personal skills coaching, mentorship, team play
• Self-starter with a lot of energy/initiative. Accurate and reliable worker with a high degree of achievement drive, and good presentation and communication skills.
