Role Overview

• We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the backend of our website by adding and maintaining new courses.
• The ideal candidate has strong backend development experience and is comfortable working with databases, APIs, and content management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend systems for course management.
• Database Management: Store, retrieve, and optimize course-related data efficiently.
• API Integration: Build and manage APIs to connect with frontend components and third-party services.
• CMS & Content Updates: Work with CMS platforms or custom-built solutions to add and organize courses.
• Performance Optimization: Improve website speed, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and fix bugs to ensure system reliability.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in backend or full stack development.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, Python, PHP, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Strapi, or custom solutions).
• Knowledge of API development and integration.
• Understanding of security best practices for handling course content.
• Ability to collaborate with frontend developers and designers.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with GraphQL, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Previous work on e-learning or course management systems.
• Familiarity with SEO and performance optimization.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
