Nairametrics Financial Advocates Limited is a leading financial resource company based in Nigeria.  We provide our clients (including visitors to our website) with up to date business, investing and financial information from Africa’s largest economy. We also have a consulting arm that provides bespoke financial management services to clients.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Analyst (Writing Role)

Location: Lagos

Summary

• As a Chief Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing authoritative analysis, commentary, and insights on financial markets, economic trends and investment strategies. 
• You will lead our team of analysts to develop and implement analytical models and collaborate with our investment and research teams to inform investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer in-depth analysis and commentary on financial markets, economic trends and investment strategies.
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance on analytical models, data interpretation and market trends
• Create and implement advanced analytical models to analyze financial data, identify trends and predict market movements work
• Work closely with our investment and research teams to inform investment decisions and provide actionable insights
• Present findings and insight to stakeholders and demonstrate expertise through thoughtful leadership.
• Continuously monitor financial markets, economic trends and regulatory changes to maintain expertise and provide timely insights.

Requirements

• Candidate must have a minimum of a BSc in Accounting or must be a Chartered Accountant with 5 years work experience.
• MBA or master's in finance is an added advantage
• Candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of the financial market and the macro economy.
• Candidate must be able to relate the impact of monetary policy, fiscal policy on the financial market and a wider range of the micro economy.
