Data Analyst at Speedaf Express

Speedaf was established in 2019. We are a joint-venture company invested by Chinese leading express enterprises. Since founded, we continuously expanded global network, developed and optimized products, improved customer experience, and introduce IT technologies and equipment to realize automatic operations. Currently, we are building a local and cross-border service network to support air, sea and road transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and emerging markets. By doing so, it will reduce end-to-end logistics costs between China and emerging markets while providing a stable and recognized logistics services to our customers. Job Title: Data Analyst

Job Description
Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze data on shipments such as delivery times to identify trends and patterns.
• Create reports and dashboards to present findings and insights to stakeholders, including QC manager, operations managers, and company executives.

Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 

• Monitor & track KPIs, such as on-time delivery rates, transit times, and damage rates to be able to identify poor performing sites.

Operational Efficiency and Optimization:

• Analyze data on operational processes, such as warehousing and delivery.

Identify Inefficiencies and Bottlenecks: 

• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in operational processes and develop recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication with other departments:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including operation managers, finance team, and customer service, to understand their data needs and requirements.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on data analysis and interpretation.

Data Management and Governance:

• Develop and maintain data systems to support operations department.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, and normalization.

Skills Required

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND
• 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Proficiency in Data Analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL or Python and Data visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Tableau.
• Have knowledge of logistic operations.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be attentive to detail.
• Must possess analytical skills.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly
