Sales Force Consulting - Our client is a major quick service Restaurant (Fast Food) retail chain with over ten outlets in the South-East and Asaba.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts / Audit Officer

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• General book-keeping ensuring that all financial transactions are captured through the company’s accounting software or records.
• Ensure the substantiation of all financial transactions evidenced by source documents.
• Initiate and maintain financial controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures and enforcing them in all aspects.
• Carry out periodic and prompt bank reconciliations to ensure they tally with the company’s records.
• Secure all source documents, keeping financial information confidential, ensuring speedy and ease of retrieval.
• Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continually.
• Prepare and present audit reports which reflect findings and recommendations regularly.
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to the coy’s operations.
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor implementation of recommendations.

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance with strong financial skills.
• Zero to three years post-NYSC work experience.

Skill Set:

• Competence to record financial transactions.
• Ability to develop and implement cost saving measures.
• Carry out effective internal audit and controls.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Business Acumen.
• Attention to details.
• Use of computer.

Other Conditions:

• Use of excel or an accounting software is an advantage.
• They should be ready to be interviewed and resume immediately.
• Candidates should ensure they reside within Onitsha, Ogidi, Nkpor axis or can easily procure accommodation.
• High level of integrity is required.
