Africa Technology Hub Limited - Our client, a reputable Federal Government Agency, is currently recruiting qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Actuarial & Data Analyst or Specialist

Locations: Abuja and Lagos
Work Mode: Physical

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and enforce actuarial standards to ensure consistency in financial reporting for PIEs.
• Provide expert guidance on interpreting and applying actuarial principles in financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Implement statistical methodologies for data analysis, ensuring accurate financial modeling and forecasting.
• Analyze quantitative data and develop mathematical models to support strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree/HND in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• 2+ years of experience in actuarial analysis and statistical modeling for the Analyst role; Minimum of 7 years of post-professional qualification experience for the Specialist role.
• An Associate or a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in the insurance or pension industry is an added advantage.
• Membership of any internationally recognized actuarial professional body, including IFoA, CAS, SOA, ASSA, or its equivalent, or the Nigerian Actuarial Society, or experience as a financial analyst, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, will be an added advantage.
