We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Key Account Manager - Mass Retailers such as Shoprite, Spar, Slot, Sims, Mega Plaza, etc

Location: Lagos

Job Roles
Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs by promoting products and services effectively.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.

Account Management:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for key clients in the portable power stations.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Understand client needs and provide customized solutions to meet their business objectives.

Market and Industry Expertise:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in portable power stations, consumer electronics, solar energy, and inverters.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product development and marketing teams to improve offerings.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development, and logistics) to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Coordinate with technical support teams to address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor account performance and prepare regular reports on sales activities, revenue, and client feedback.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the portable power station, consumer electronics, solar energy, or inverter industries.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of portable power stations, consumer electronics, solar energy systems, or inverters.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and their applications.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-value clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to understand and explain technical product details to clients.
