We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Counsel

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Transaction Management: Lead and manage complex retail transactions, including leasing, acquisitions, and disposals.
• Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, negotiate, and finalize transaction documents, including leases, sale and purchase agreements, and other related contracts.
• Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on potential transactions, including reviewing title reports, surveys, and other relevant documents.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with retail transactions.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless transaction execution.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge of retail transactions, including industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
