We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative (Dr Smart Paint)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Head of Growth

Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Consultant dedicated solely to promoting and selling our premium paint brand, Dr Smart. 
  • This role focuses on increasing market share, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase the adoption and distribution of Dr Smart paints.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors, retailers, and project contractors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, construction firms, and contractors.
  • Generate 70% to 100% of your sales revenue per month/year.
  • Achieve 20% growth in sales revenue compared to the previous period.
  • Acquire at least 50 new leads per month, follow up with leads per day to improve conversion rates and convert 30% of direct leads into paying customers within a year.
  • Maintain a 95% customer retention rate by providing excellent post-sales support.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for clients and distributors.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive brand visibility and awareness campaigns.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the brand.

Skill Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in paint sales, value-added services, and distributorship acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of the paint industry, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to identify potential sales channels and expand market reach.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address client concerns and drive sales opportunities.
  • Knowledge of sales strategies and customer acquisition techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and sales operations effectively.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and distributors.
