Job Role

• We are looking for a skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces while ensuring a seamless user experience across our digital products.
• You will collaborate with product managers and developers to translate user needs into visually appealing and functional designs that align with business goals.

 Responsibilities

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs, pain points, and behavior.
• Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions, create user personas and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results, continuously improving the user experience.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that demonstrate the structure, layout, and functionality of digital products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to iterate on designs and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Design visually appealing and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience across web and mobile platforms.
• Develop design systems, style guides, and UI patterns to maintain consistency and coherence throughout the product.
• Ensure designs are accessible, adhering to industry standards and best practices for usability.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the design vision is accurately implemented during development.
• Collaborate with product managers and other team members to understand project requirements, constraints, and objectives.
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final designs.
• Conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay current on UI/UX best practices, design trends, and emerging technologies to create innovative and modern digital experiences.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Product Manager and Head, Digital Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Product Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must reside in Abuja.
