Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial analysis, project accounting, cost accounting, and general ledger. 
• The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and compliance with statutory requirements, while providing leadership to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial and cash flow analysis; prepare monthly reports.
• Maintain project accounting, including budget-to-actual statements.
• Manage general ledger, payroll reporting, accounts payable/receivable, cash management, and financial statements.
• Prepare budgets and ensure timely report submission.
• Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements (VAT, PAYE, etc.).
• Monitor cash flow and manage company finances.
• Collaborate with other departments to support decision-making and improve financial performance.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
• Assist with audits and annual financial statement preparation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• ICAN certification required.
• Minimum 7 years experience, with 3 years in a senior managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks etc).
• Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
