Jewels Leading Lights ia a christian school based in Abuja Nigeria with two campuses at Gwarimpa and Life Camp. We offer educational services with biblical integration and student spiritual formation and discipleship.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hostel Master, Boarding School

Location: Life Camp, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A honest and God fearing hostel master that can handle our boys hostel who can handle the following responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Student Welfare and Discipline:

• Maintain a positive and caring environment for all hostel residents.
• Enforce hostel rules and regulations to ensure student discipline and safety.
• Act as a mentor and counselor for students, providing guidance on personal, social, and academic concerns.

Health and Safety:

• Monitor students' health and liaise with medical personnel if required.
• Conduct regular safety checks within the hostel premises.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, room allocations, and inventories.
• Organize and supervise hostel events, activities, and outings.

Facility Management:

• Ensure the hostel premises are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up to ensure repairs are completed.

Parental Communication:

• Communicate with parents regarding students' welfare, and conduct in line with the policies of the school

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Previous experience working with young people in a residential setting preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage challenging situations effectively.
