Job Title: Housekeeper

About the Role

• We are seeking a diligent, trustworthy, and highly hygienic Live-in Female Housekeeper to join our team at ourmanagement staff residence of a leading mining exploration and mineral exportation company in Abuja, Nigeria. 
• The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for garment care-including washing and ironing (with an emphasis on suits),maintaining a clean living environment for our top management staff and preparing rooms for guests upon arrival at the residence. This role requires a candidate who can adapt quickly to a live-in work environment and is available for immediate resumption.

Key Responsibilities

• Garment Care:
  • Wash, iron, and care for garments, with special attention to suits and formal wear.
  • Ensure that all clothes are maintained to a high standard.
• General Housekeeping:
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the residence to ensure a spotless environment.
  • Adhere strictly to the cleanliness and hygiene protocols established by the company.
• Additional Duties:
  • Follow any additional instructions regarding maintenance and upkeep provided by the supervising boss.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding residence operations and personal information of the management team.
  • Maintain at all times, a high level of trusthworthiness and high ethical standard as you go about your tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in the hospitality industry or residential properties.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficient in garment care (washing, ironing, with emphasis on suits) and general cleaning.
  • Basic oral and written English proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, trusthworthy and the ability to work independently.
• Work Environment:
  • Must be willing and able to live on-site at the management residence.
  • Flexibility to work 7 days a week with flexible hours.
  • Off days or travel time will be discussed as the need arises.
• Immediate Availability & Relocation:
  • Candidate must be available to resume immediately.
  • Preference for candidates currently located in Abuja or its environs.

• Competitive salary within the range of N70,000 - N100,000 per month.
