Supervision and Management:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, including security guards and other security staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Train and educate security personnel on security procedures, emergency response plans, and safety protocols.

Security Operations:

• Monitor security systems and equipment, such as surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improve security measures.
• Investigate security breaches and incidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.

Liaison and Communication:

• Serve as a point of contact for security-related matters, communicating with security staff, management, and external agencies.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during security incidents and emergencies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate security records, reports, and documentation.

Other Duties:

• Assist with the recruitment and hiring of security personnel.
• Develop and implement security plans and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in security operations, preferably as a security supervisor or in a similar role.
• Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct security personnel.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with security staff, management, and external agencies.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve security issues.
• Knowledge:Knowledge of security systems, equipment, and procedures.
• Other: Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 / month.
