Job Title: Adolescent Wellbeing and Youth Engagement Intern

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

The opportunity

• The Adolescent Wellbeing and Youth Engagement Intern will support the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of programs and initiatives focused on sexual and reproductive health.
• This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in program development, community engagement, and advocacy within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

About You

• We are looking for applicant with Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or a related field.
• The candidate should possess at least one (1) year of experience in program implementation, research, advocacy, or community engagement within Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Gender, or Youth Development projects.
• S/he should possess previous experience directly providing services to children at risk and victims of abuse, exploitation and violence.
• The candidate should have good knowledge and understanding of the DO NO HARM principles and established international child protection standards (especially UNCRC).
