Our goal is to preserve African food identity while delivering high-quality, well-plated, and comforting meals. We are looking for a highly organized and hard-working Inventory & Store Manager to join our team and ensure smooth inventory and store operations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Inventory & Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control and store management at Ródo Restaurant. 
  • This role ensures stock levels are maintained efficiently, minimizes waste, optimizes procurement processes, and oversees the organization and security of the store. 
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in maintaining a well-structured inventory and store management system. 
  • This position also involves close collaboration with the head chef to ensure the kitchen is always stocked with the necessary ingredients and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of the restaurant’s store, ensuring proper storage and easy access to supplies.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to receive high-quality ingredients and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements, purchases, and usage.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to prevent shortages, wastage, and discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory and store management systems to optimize workflow.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to track ingredient usage and forecast stock needs.
  • Work directly with the head chef to ensure all necessary kitchen items are available at all times.
  • Ensure all inventory is stored in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Identify and report slow-moving or expired stock, implementing solutions to reduce losses.
  • Maintain a clear and transparent reporting structure for inventory usage and costs.
  • Manage the store’s layout, organization, and security to ensure efficiency and accountability.
  • Work directly with procurement to ensure accurate and timely ordering of stock.
  • Proven experience in inventory and store management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, the head chef, and restaurant staff.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently while maintaining accountability.
  • Understanding of cost control and waste reduction strategies in food service.

Requirements
