Ataogo Nigeria Limited, incorporated in 2013, is a leading engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance company, specializing in the oil and gas industry. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Certified QA / QC Supervisor – Oil & Gas Construction Projects

Locations: Warri, Delta / Offshore / Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Summary

• We are currently recruiting highly skilled and experienced professionals for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001 and Company standards.
• Quality Control: Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC records, including inspection reports, test results, and certification documents.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards (e.g., API RP2A, ANSI B31.3) and regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership: Supervise QA/QC inspectors and technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Audits: Conduct internal and external audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Safety: Promote and enforce HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) standards on-site.
• Reporting: Provide regular QA/QC reports to project managers and stakeholders, highlighting issues and recommending corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: HND or equivalent in a technical field.
• Certification: NACE CIP Level 2 or equivalent certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of field or shop experience as a QA/QC inspector or supervisor in the Oil and Gas industry.

Skills:

• Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Certifications:

• OPITO Basic Offshore Survival Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
• Additional certifications in welding inspection, coating inspection, or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) are an advantage.

Key Competencies:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of QA/QC processes, including welding, coating, and NDT.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure all project deliverables meet Company specifications and quality standards.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve quality objectives.
