Delta State University is a public institution providing a comprehensive undergraduate and graduate curriculum to approximately 3,500 students representing all of the states and 50 different countries. Dozens of degree programs on the undergraduate level provide educational opportunities in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, and Education and in the Robert E. Smith School of Nursing. Graduate programs on the master’s, educational specialist, and doctoral levels provide advanced training in a broad range of disciplines.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Cyber Security and Data Science)

Location: Abraka, Delta
Department: Cyber Security and Data Science

Qualifications and Experience
The candidate must have:

• A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree;
• At least three (3) years fulltime teaching experience as a Lecturer I (however a candidate with two (2) years full time experience as a Lecturer I and outstanding publications in Q1 and Q2 journals may be considered);
• A minimum of twenty-seven(27)points, of which sixteen (16) points must be from recognized peer review journals. Six (6) out of the 16 points must be obtained from publications in reputable journals indexed in Thompson Reuters (Clarivate Analytics) or Scopus;
• A Google Scholar h-index of at least 2; and
• Evidence of full professional registration with relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
