Job Title: Graphics Facilitator

Role Overview

• We are seeking a creative and skilled Graphic Facilitator to join our team. 
• In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs in graphic design, visual communication, and digital art, empowering our participants with valuable skills for today's creative industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum in graphic design principles, tools, and techniques
• Facilitate engaging workshops and hands-on training sessions for diverse participants
• Create visual learning materials and resources that inspire creativity
• Guide participants through design thinking processes and creative problem-solving
• Provide constructive feedback on participants' design projects and portfolios
• Stay current with emerging trends, software, and best practices in graphic design
• Collaborate with other facilitators to integrate design elements into broader tech education
• Support participants in building professional portfolios and preparing for career opportunities
• Organize design showcases and exhibitions to highlight participant achievements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in professional graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools
• Previous teaching or training experience in design-related subjects
• Strong visual communication and presentation skills
• Portfolio demonstrating diverse design capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
• Passion for empowering others through creative education

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in UI/UX design.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing.
• Understanding of brand identity development.
• Experience working with youth and women in educational settings.
• Familiarity with African visual culture and design landscape.
