Job Title: Technical / IT Support Officer

Location: Lekki-epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical/IT Support Officer to provide reliable technical support for our events, equipment, and internal systems.
• You will be responsible for ensuring all technical aspects of our interactive sports experiences run smoothly—from setting up audiovisual systems and managing event software to troubleshooting hardware and supporting the team’s digital needs.
• This role plays a vital part in delivering seamless, engaging, and professional events that reflect our brand's commitment to innovation and fun.

Key Responsibilities
Event & Equipment Support:

• Set up and manage technical equipment at event venues, including audio systems, visual displays, interactive stations, and scoring or tracking devices.
• Ensure all digital and interactive game systems function properly before, during, and after events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site in real time to minimize disruptions.
• Safely transport and install tech gear in collaboration with the logistics team.

IT & Brand Support:

• Maintain and update all company IT systems, including laptops, Wi-Fi hotspots, tablets, and software used for operations and marketing.
• Provide technical support to team members for day-to-day tasks (e.g., email, apps, website backend).
• Assist in maintaining the company website and digital platforms, ensuring smooth integration of multimedia content.
• Work closely with the marketing team to support livestreams, video uploads, or interactive event content.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in technical support, AV setup, or IT assistance—preferably in events or entertainment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
• Familiarity with multimedia tools (projectors, speakers, streaming equipment, etc.).
• Understanding of basic networking and Wi-Fi configurations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting live events or interactive exhibits.
• Knowledge of website CMS (e.g., WordPress), basic video editing, or live streaming tools (e.g., OBS).
• Familiarity with hardware like gaming consoles, tablets, or VR equipment.

Working Conditions

• On-site at events and remote temporal technical support.
• Requires lifting and setting up equipment.
